SERAP Comes Hard On Nigeria Police, Demands For Probe Into Allegations Against Akpabio

The Socio-Economic Rights & Accountability Project (SERAP) has come hard for the Nigeria Police following the storming of former acting NDDC MD's house this morning.
Joy Nunieh who is currently enmeshed in a messy fraud scandal in the NDDC accused Federal Government minister Godswill Akpabio of not only diverting funds but also of sexual harassment.

Nunieh who is expected to testify in the case against Akpabio had her house surrounded by members of the Nigeria Police force today and had to be rescued by the Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike, in his convoy.

Taking to micro blogging platform, Twitter, SERAP has condemned the harassment of Joy Nunieh and demanded for a thorough investigation into the allegations of corruption she has made rather than trying to intimidate her into silence.
