Don Jazzy, Tiwa Savage Finally Speak On D'banj's Rape Allegations

The rape allegation leveled against Dapo Oyebanjo popularly known as D'banj has become a tabloid spectacle as more intrigues and rumors arise around the story.
About a week ago, a Nigerian model scout, Benjamin Ese, alleged that Dbanj raped his friend on December 31, 2018, at Glee hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos.

In a post shared via his Instagram page on Tuesday, June 16, 2020, the music star said the allegations are all lies and from the pit of the hell.

The music star went on to post a letter written by his lawyer, Chief Mike Ozekhome where he is demanding that the lady in question, Miss Babatayo should tender an open apology with a N100M compensation.

Yesterday, there were reports that Miss Seyitan Babatayo, the alleged victim,  was arrested by the police on the behest of D'banj which led to massive backlash for the musician on social media, especially Twitter with many petitioning the police for her release.

Before this uproar died down, more speculations arose as the Twitter page of Seyitan surprisingly deleted all records of the reported rape and then proceeded to promote an unreleased song by D'banj.

This action has divided social media as many try to understand what is actually going on.

Reacting to this, Don Jazzy and Tiwa Savage, both former record mates of D'banj have shared their opinions on the issue.
